Welcome to the Optimizers Club and the Simple Split Testing Course (SST).

The course is presented as a series of videos. I feel that with audio and video together, I can teach better and explain more than I would be able to do with text on a printed page only.

And there’s lots to know!

The videos start with some background information about split testing. We’ll cover the difference between online businesses and offline business. We’ll then make sure you’ve got a firm grip on the words you’ll need to know in order to make sense of everything.

And of course, there are some rules about split testing — even simple split testing — that you need to know. We’ll talk about why split testing is so important to you, and what kinds of dramatic improvements you can create, even with simple split testing.

But we’ll talk about Advanced Split Testing anyway, and explain its advantages for when you’re ready to step up to that level. We’ll then cover four split testing tools you can use, and point out the differences between them, and then recommend which one you probably ought to use.

You might be thinking that the reason to run a split test is just to sell more stuff, and that’s certainly one major benefit. But that’s not the only reason to run a test — or even the best reason. So we’ll talk about what that “best” reason is.

I’ll then preview a live split test, and let you know exactly what’s going to happen. I’ll then show you exactly how to set a live split test, then run it, and wrap it up by reviewing the results.

Understanding what the results mean, and knowing when and how to end the test important. And at present, that’s the end of the course.

Before you start the course, you might find it helpful to download and print out the Powerpoint slides from the lessons. Each slide has space next to it for note-taking, which my Beta Testers told me was especially helpful when taking the course.

Right-click to print the Simple Split Testing course notes.

You’ll find all of the videos listed in the sidebar to your right. It’s best to watch them in order.

Each video is presented in its own blog post. That means there’s a spot to comment on each video. And that’s exactly what you should do. If you’ve got ANY questions, post them there. Another Optimizers Club member, a member of my staff, or I will do our best to answer your question.

If, after watching this video, you’ve got any questions or comments about this module, leave a comment below. Otherwise, use the link below to go to the next lesson.

Thanks,
